Dacia Sandero Stepway 2009 2010 Reviews and Specs

Dacia Sandero Stepway Officially Released
Dacia Sandero Stepway Officially Released

This is nothing else but a Sandero with bumpers and a high ground clearance. I have doubts that we shall see another SUV based on Dacia Duster. The Alliance has already Nissan Qashqai and Renault Koleos. Anyway, being a low cost car, could have good sales, as Dacia has these days. It's true, this is not related to the previously announced Dacia SUV. This is just a cross-over of the Sandero, following a common trend in it's class set by the VW Cross-Polo, Skoda Fabia Scout or Rover Streetwise. Hopefully Renault will keep their promise and deliver a low cost Dacia branded SUV based on the Qashqai...

No news here. As mentioned, this car has been on sale in South America for a year. I've even sat in one. And it isn't news that this is the first SUV-type car from the brand rather than the Duster because, as stated, this has been around for a year whereas the Duster concept debuted at Geneva, some time after the Stepway was being marketed.
Sandero (branded as a Dacia in Eastern Europe) has been quite successful in Brazil, with 18,500 units sold in the first half of this year alone. The Stepway has a 1.6-litre 112 bhp 16 valve engine, the Hi-Flex one with bio-ethanol abilities. At 112 ponies it is Renault’s most powerful bio-ethanol powerplant in Brazil. Sandero will be popular because of its interesting styling, as well as higher ride height that makes drivers feel on top of the traffic situation. This should increase its popularity with the females then. With Stepway you also get chrome-finished pipe, exclusive bumpers and grille and roof bars with an integrated spoiler. New ABT AS3 based on Audi A3 Facelift

This car wouldn't be that bad if it had a folding hardtop. The softtop sucks when somebody decides to cut it open and steal your car or carjack you. it'd be easier to throw a rat into an open window for carjacking, then to try and cut it open.but I agree, this car would be cool with a optional folding hard top .Abt's off-the-shelf tuning products for the 2.0 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI engines available for the Audi A3 Cabriolet put the new Audi rag top in four stages of upgraded power. The first offering for the 2.0 TFSI add a healthy portion of horsepower from 200hp (147kW) to 240hp (177kW) while the second Power S upgrade brings the rag top on par with the Audi S3 with 270hp (199kW). Most likely to be the more popular engine choice, the 1.8 TFSI engine also gets bumped up from the standard 160hp (118kW) to a very respectable 200hp (147kW), or to 240hp (177kW) with ABT Power S.New ABT AS3 based on Audi A3 Facelift

Mercedes-Benz C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition 2009 2010

Mercedes-Benz C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition
Still, the competition (Audi, BMW) better keep up lest they leave Mercedes alone to become the go-to brand for consumption-conscious premium brand customers."
Case in point is the new C220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY engine now available on the C-Class (with 170 hp/125kW and 400 Nm of torque). That 2.1 liter (2143cc) diesel achieves a fuel economy rating of 4.8 liters/100 km (58.85 UK mpg) - quite a leap from the 6.1 liters/100 km (46.31 UK mpg) of its previous, non-BlueEFFICIENCY iteration. It even fares better than the 5.1 liters/100 km (55.38 UK mpg) of the C200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY (136 hp /100 kW), an engine launched just a year ago.
Also newly available in the C-Class is the C250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY, a direct injection petrol/gasoline engine. The C250 CGI comes with 204 hp/150kW and 310 Nm of torque while achieving an impressive 7.2 liters/100 km (39.23 UK mpg) fuel rating.
All figures cited above are for the new engines available on C-Class sedan models, fuel consumption is slightly (by very little) higher on the estate/wagon. Still, the competition (Audi, BMW) better keep up lest they leave Mercedes alone to become the go-to brand for consumption-conscious premium brand customers

Mercedes Concept FASCINATION

Mercedes Concept FASCINATION
Mercedes Concept FASCINATION

This car has no relation to the R-Class whatsoever. The R-Class is built on a completely different chassis and is probably 50% longer and heavier than this. And the R-Class is butt ugly. This car looks good.I believe he meant that, like the R-class, this car is destined to fail. They aren't related mechanically at all. But they are both ultra-niche cars which nobody needs, but which Mercedes will (try to) convince them they want. When this concept debuted last year, I immediately found that it was so hard to resist. actually it's like from the begining of the motor car, that manufacturers were copying each other many times, and only few were true new trendsetters. I think borrowing some desing cues from other good designs is not bad, as far as it's not total copying of everything.
Even with the introduction of E class Sedan and Coupe, I still believe that this shooking brake is the most elegant and beautiful in E series.

This design study continues the long tradition of exciting coupés from Mercedes-Benz in impressive style. With its emotionally ap-pealing lines, ConceptFASCINATION offers a completely new interpretation of the coupé. Its aesthetic, dynamic looks and painstakingly crafted details ensure that this study meets the highest design standards."
Mercedes previews a new 2.2-liter four-cylinder Bluetec diesel engine in the engine bay of the ConceptFASCINATION, a production version will make its way to the E-Class range come 2010 possibly carrying the label 250 CDI. It generates the kind of power currently achieved by the 3.0-liter CDI with an output of 204 horsepower (150kW) and its lower displacement means we can expect some pretty impressive fuel economy and CO2 emission figures.

2009 BMW K1300GT First Ride and Reviews

2009 BMW K1300GT First Ride and Reviews
2009 BMW K1300GT First Ride, See BMW's latest version of its K series touring motorcycle - the BMW K1300GT. Fun-factor was higher on the S, as we are always looking for that exhilaration of speed, but when it comes to practicality and how the machine will stack up to its competition, the K1300GT really shines. Add the heated grips, heated seat, cruise control and adjustable windscreen, and riding the GT for days on end would be no problem. The BMW K1300GT puts the sport in sport-tourer, with the added engine performance enhancing the already impressive BMW sport touring platform. Riders can pound the pavement in typical BMW comfort and style aboard the BMW K1300S. Extremely smooth and very comfortable, the BMW street bike still handles quite well. The GT is planted and stable, capable of way more lean than one would expect from a touring mount.

New Benelli Cafe Racer 2009 Review

New Benelli Cafe Racer 2009 Review
New Benelli Cafe Racer 2009 Review
The energy the Benelli Cafe Racer emits pours over into the handling. The bike weighs a gnats whisker under 440 lbs, so don’t expect a light brush of the ‘bars to have an instant effect in dropping into corners. But whilst it takes some subtle persuading for the initial tip in, its size becomes a distinct advantage once it is leant over. It holds a line like it’s never going to let go and offers a great deal of confidence, especially from the weighted front end. Of course that means chopping direction requires you to be masterful, but it’s always good to remind yourself who’s really the boss. . The Benelli TNT Café Racer invokes the rebellious spirit of the 1960s British counterculture that gave rise to the first stripped-down racing motorcycles that emphasised speed and handling over comfort, yet forgoes the utilitarian styling. If the name Cafe Racer wasn't emblazoned on the side of the Benelli we would probably refer to as a streetfighter.

New Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE 2009 Reviews

New Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE 2009 Reviews
New Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE 2009 Reviews
The Griso 8V SE is a fairly long motorcycle and styled to be a mix between a performance cruiser and a naked sportbike. This Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE will only be produced to a limited 500 units, which should make it a collector's item of sorts. The riding experience is still the same, but when you do stop there’s something extra special to look at. Of all the current Moto Guzzis the Griso 8V is my firm favorite. Even for the sport part I’d rather get the Griso than the Sport but that’s me. Ground clearance is probably not as good, but that Italian “tough guy” styling and feel definitely got to me - even without a horse’s head in my bed. The Griso 8V SE is simply a very good motorcycle.Of the two it’s more of a naked sportbike and the thinking behind the design is for the Griso to be Guzzi’s answer to the Harley V-Rod or even Yamaha’s MT-01. The Special Edition features a hand made brown leather seat, “Tenni” (V11 Le Mans Tenni) graphics on the fuel tank and matte green paint. The frame, engine and instrument panel are all in a black finish. The wheels are spoked for a retro touch, but the racing footrests, radial brakes and USD 43mm fork are all modern performance goods.
Despite the Griso’s fairly long wheelbase, it was easy to dodge traffic on the streets of Rome.
Sitting on the unique luxury brown leather seat with a slight stretch to the handlebars it feels right straight away. Firing up the 1151cc engine the Griso 8V vibrates a tad more than an air-cooled BMW, but less than a Harley. Blipping the throttle leaves no doubt there’s a powerful engine beneath me. The Griso 8V will power wheelie in first gear with a quick on-off throttle action, which speaks of the most powerful Moto Guzzi in the current model line-up. There’s 110 Italian stallions transmitted through the maintenance free shaft drive to the rear tire. While max horsepower arrives at 7500 rpm, max torque of 108 Nm arrives a little earlier at 6400 rpm which you easily notice on the road. Firing the Griso 8V out from the red lights is the easiest thing in the world
