The '09 250 also sees modifications to the rolling chassis. Up front a new Bridgestone M403A tire is connected to the KYB SSS (Speed Sensitive System) fork with revised settings and set in a new top triple clamp.

The YZ450F shares many of its little siblings changes, including a new swingarm, rear hub and top triple clamp.
Even more changes appear out back, with a ligher (350 grams, 0.77 lbs) hydroformed swingarm featuring reduced twist and vertical rigidity but increased horizontal rigidity. The swingarm is mated to a revised linkage and rear shock which now uses a steel spring instead of titanium. The shock settings, like the fork, are also modified. Also new is a lighter (265 grams, 0.58 lbs), more compact rear hub system with a larger diameter axle (25mm compared to 22mm).

Other '09 tweaks are shared throughout most of the YZ lineup. A more compact brake hose holder replaces a larger steel design up front, with a new D.I.D. gold-colored chain sprucing up the rear. Another minor difference is a new seat cover pattern, which Yamaha claims improves grip and is more stain resistan

FMF Factory Suzuki RM-Z450 2009 2010 Review

FMF Factory Suzuki RM-Z450 2009 2010 Review
This Suzuki RM-Z450 is modeled after the latest in a long line of Suzuki off-road racers, and started life as a project for another magazine that somehow never reached its destination – a dust collector in the Brea, Calif. warehouse. Depending on how big you are is really the thing that decides what one of the two suits you. Also what level you are at, experience and fitnes wise. To be frank if your under 85kgs and you are not racing for your country, the 250 is always going to be the better choice weather it be riding in the open or doing moto x. Your lap times will be significantly faster, you wont go home feeling like uve just survived an air crash, financially your better off not only the cost of buying it but also in the long term maintaining it. Id go the 250
FMF Factory Suzuki Off-Road has amassed 21 championships in various disciplines since forming the team in 1992. Now don’t get confused here, but you’ll notice some Charlie Mullins numbers – that was just for a photo project Suzuki was doing - but the bike is technically a Strang replica. The only differences are suspension internals which are designed for the larger Strang. Actually, there’s very little different aside from suspension on all the FMF Factory Suzuki race bikes, even from West Coast to East Coast. RG3 handles the individual suspension needs of each racer so guys racing the WORCS series typically have stiffer setups than the GNCC fellas. We ran into Jonathan Davis at the western ISDE national qualifier and probably could have swapped numbers with him in the impound area without ever being discovered. Davis raced his machine to third in the E2 class and a spot on Team USA at the Six Days in Portugal. Boasting championship-winning technology, the Suzuki fuel-injected RM-Z450 offers exceptional performance across the powerband - complemented by advanced chassis and suspension systems for unrivaled versatility on a variety of tracks.
Incredibly crisp throttle response, thanks to its Suzuki fuel injection system with a fuel pump enclosed inside a factory aluminum fuel tank to provide optimum fuel pressure.
Liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine with dual overhead camshafts operating four titanium valves is compact, powerful and lightweight for smooth, controllable power delivery.
Smooth suspension performance and crisp handling provided by fully adjustable inverted, twin-chamber 47mm cartridge-type Showa front forks and fully adjustable Showa 50mm piggyback-reservoir shock Race-inspired front (250mm) and rear (240mm) disc rotors offer excellent cooling efficiency for outstanding stopping power and outstanding performance in muddy conditions.

Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition 2009 2010

Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition
Possibly a road-going version of the ALMS RS Spyder as the "next GT or Porsche supercar". But I hope if they do produce another supercar on the level of the CGT, that it will be an all-new design with a NA V-10 or 12 and go up against the upcoming McLaren.
Oh and this Gemballa is disgusting. By disgusting I mean more than sick! Kind of hard to replace the GT, any way you look at it, it was amazing. And it looked great, too. I guess there's the GT2 to appease some of the fans, but I hope that Porsche will make a new GT. Once they pull their heads out of their 455es and realize that they are waisting time with the other niches they will make a new GT. So probably never, then. The front face of the Mirage GT comes with a front apron with air inlets for the front coolers and Gemballa's ownGemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition bonnet and front wings also help to usher the air along the top of the car properly through the roof channel and onto the air scoop of the engine bay. The new side skirts also have integrated air inlets to cool down the brakes. At the back are the new rear skirt with integrated diffuser and a large wing with an adjustable Gurney flap to push down on the rear axle.
Performance enhancement on the Mirage GT is also provided by the 670 hp and 630 Nm of torque available from the V10 which get the Mirage GT to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and to 200 km/h in 9.7. Top speed is 335 km/h (208 mph).

New Harley CVO Softail Springer 2009 2010 Reviews and Specs

New Harley CVO Softail Springer 2009 2010 Reviews and Specs
The 2009 version uses the Rockertail frame and chrome-plated wide swingarm introduced in the 2008 Rocker where a form-fitting fender is mounted directly to the swingarm over the rear tire. The Rocker was already equipped to run on a 240mm rear tire, so the CVO Springer rolls on the same. Offsetting the new fat rear end is a 130mm front tire mounted on an 18-inch Road Winder wheel. The single disc up front has a new four-piston brake caliper with a chrome forged mount. The front and rear brakes include Road Winder rotors and the calipers have the same granite treatment as the engine. Even though it has a 240mm rear tire, it doesn't handle like a wide-tired bike. The CVO Springer Softail has a tighter rake than the Rocker, giving it a better feel up front, and the retuned rear suspension isn't as unforgiving as my initial experience aboard the more rigid Rocker. Potholes still impact the Springer fork hard and it doesn't quite match the solid feel of the CVO Fat Bob's standard fork, but that's a given for a Springer. And even though the four-pot setup on the front brakes is new for the model, the single disc doing the duties up front is a little soft. Again, it just didn't quite match up to the CVO Fat Bob's dual arrangement

2009 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide

H-D also retuned valves and springs in the front and rear suspension. Their efforts result in giving the front end a much better feel. It no longer translates every imperfection in the road through the handlebars. I got lucky and was able to ride the 2009 CVO Ultra Classic on California's Highway 101 north out of Santa Barbara where I could open up the throttle and run through the gears on the 6-Speed Cruise Drive transmission. The familiar Big Twin melody echoed from new four-inch mufflers as the big tourer hovered just above 3300 rpm at 75 mph. Pushing it a little harder into what before was an area of uneasiness aboard the Ultra was steady as she goes, full steam ahead, Captain. The Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam 110 gives the CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide that extra push that I'd like to see in the production model. The blend of extra power and improved handling was a pleasant surprise in the platform. Load the Tour Pak up, top off the six-gallon tank, punch in your coordinates on the nav system and enjoy the ride. The 2009 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide is the total touring package, and highway pegs, foot controls, heated hand grips, windshield trim, mirrors and saddlebag latches from the Rumble Collection only help seal the deal.
