After the little yellow which we told you about this morning, we are able to offer "real" photographs of the Mercedes C 63 AMG facelift. The German company has replaced the previous gallery with these new images. Where comes the confirmation that the "bumps" on the hood, immediately recognizable feature of the model will not disappear, but instead will remain in place.
Behind the substantial cosmetic surgery, there are other important innovations: first of all, the debut of the new AMG Speedshift MCT, already used on other models, such as SL 63 AMG and E 63. In S +, sportiest mode, gear changes occur in just 100 milliseconds.
With the new rules "Controlled Efficiency" and also the new power steering pump, fuel consumption and emissions reduction model, with the same power than the pre-facelift: the 457 hp base model (delivered at 6800 rpm), 487 those of the model with AMG Performance Package. The couples in both cases amounted to 600 Nm at 5000 rpm, while the 0-100 is covered in 4.5 (saloon) or 4.6 s (station), values that fall by one tenth for each of the AMG Performance Package.
