Ventilation operates independently from the vehicle motor, powered by solar roof panels. Additional Remote Air Conditioning function allows air con to be started up to three minutes before car is occupied, operated by key fob control.

MIT E-Motion hybrid concept car is a low-slung gullwinged two-door with a chopped-off rear end. The E-Motion hybrid concept car only has weighs about 800kg despite a length of 4.2m, because it was built around an aluminum spaceframe with plastic body panels. However, tt has a similar powertrain system to GM’s E-Flex. The MIT E-Motion hybrid concept car has designed with a tiny petrol engine (24bhp) serving only to supplement the drive from the lithium-ion batteries which power the motors under most conditions. The range between refueling and recharging is said to be 100km, with a roof-mounted solar panel topping up the electrical energy sources.

Hyundai Blue-Will is a plug-in hybrid concept car. Hyundai Blue-Will concept is powered by a Gasoline Direct Injected 1.6-litre engine with Continuously Variable Transmission and a 100kw electric motor. Hyundai Blue-Will’s electric power is stored in Lithium Ion Polymer batteries which, together with the fuel tank, are located under the rear seats. Hyundai Blue-Will, has exceptionally advanced technology crammed inside its striking bodyshell. Recycled PET soft drink bottles were used to make the material for the headlamp bezels while use has also been made of bio-plastics: PLA for the interior while PA11 was specified for the engine cover. These materials are made from plants extract rather than fossil fuels and are bio-degradable. Hyundai Blue-Will features  a 100kw electric motor which is at the heart of Hyundai’s parallel hybrid drive architecture. Hyundai Blue-Will's design flexibility is found on the panoramic roof. The glass area integrates dye-sensitized solar cells which can generate power for the batteries from the sun without impeding visibility.
