The 2009 Aspen is a 4-door, up to 8-passenger sport-utility, available in two trims, the Limited 4X2 and the Limited 4X4. Upon introduction, the Limited 4X2 is equipped with a standard 4.7-liter, V8, 303-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. The Limited 4X4 is equipped with a standard 4.7-liter, V8, 303-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.Excellent vehicle! Compared Tahoe and Expedition as well. Can't beat the Aspen for the money. I love the way it rides. Got the J package and all the goodies on it in black. Looks really sharp with the 20" chrome wheels. NAV works while moving unlike Lexus. Touch screen unlike Mercedes. Back seat TV is great for kids and the rear console option with heated seats is great! The head phones aren't thrown around the car. Great time to make a deal! Dealerships will really deal these bigger SUVs right now right now with the economy and crossovers taking the market over. Came down a couple more thousand $ even after all discounts/rebates applied. This SUV is environment friendly with the flexfuel system, can carry plenty, and rides great. I mean, take a good look at all the chrome features. Its a v-8 and rides great I love my aspen!!!
