The 2010 M-Class is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in 4 trims, ranging from the ML350 BlueTEC to the ML63 AMG. The gas cars were good..but the diesel is awesome. (I'm getting 28 mpg) It's got the torque and power to pull my boat and excellent handling making it a great daily driver. I commute 100 miles a day on some twisty roads and I'm not all worn out afterword. I would love to go up to the GL but the extra cost keeps me here Upon introduction, the ML350 BlueTEC is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, V6, 210-horsepower, turbo, diesel engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. The ML63 AMG is equipped with a standard 6.2-liter, V8, 503-horsepower engine that achieves 11-mpg in the city and 15-mpg on the highway. A 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
Most solid, best handling, smooth riding SUV on market. Turbo diesel motor terrific. 20-28 MPG city/highway mileage. Very, very reliable. Easy to drive 750 miles without undue fatigue. AWD great in heavy rain.
Pros
Comfort, power, mileage, sound system, traction.
Cons
Expensive dealer maintenence. High dust producing brake pads with no aftermarket ones available.
