Mitsubishi Outlander 2009 2010: Reviews and Specs

The 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander comes into the new model year with a number of feature upgrades. The Outlander's smooth 3.0-liter V6 provides a lot of punch and returns 19 mpg overall, and the four-cylinder gets 22 mpg. Handling is fairly agile and it is secure limits, due in part to its standard ESC. The ride is fairly stiff. Interior fit and finish is a bit disappointing. The top-level V6 offers a third-row seat. Reliability has been outstanding.
Three-row seating is now available on the four-cylinder Special Edition (SE) trims and the navigation system with digital music server now includes a new rear-view camera on XLS trims while the hard disc capacity is increased to 40 GB, up from 30 GB. Other changes include new chrome-plated door handles, a chrome accent for the grille and chrome-accented side sill garnish on the Outlander XLS and the Convenience Package is now standard on the ES 4WD
