The 2009 Jeep Wrangler adds a drop-in bin to the center console and a storage net to the lower center stack. The redesigned Wrangler has a stiff, but steady ride, with vague steering and low cornering limits. The 3.8-liter V6 delivers dismal fuel economy. Off-road capability remains extremely impressive. Reliability has been well below average reliability. IIHS side-crash-test results without the optional side airbags are unimpressive.Standard Hill Start Assist that prevents rollback on a graded surface and available Trailer Sway Control monitors vehicle movement relative to the intended path and activates the Electronic Stability Program if the trailer begins to sway outside set parameters. Sunburst Orange Pearl Coat and Deep Water Blue Pearl Coat are new exterior colors.
