You know, we’ve all seen the trapezoidal quad front headlights coming for a long time now, but I have to be honest, it’s still taking me a long time to get used to them.
Time will tell, but I don’t think I’m going to be a fan of this design iteration. On this one, I agree with ‘A4′: give me a used E55; I think it has a more elegant demeanor and an engine that’s arguably more fun.That’s a gorgeous monster. Honda projects a fourth generation Odyssey to arrive in 2010. As of October 2008, Honda is reconsidering its target of starting sales of diesel-powered autos in 2009. Japan's Nikkei English News reported earlier that Honda would put off sales of diesel vehicles in the U.S. and Japan until at least 2010, citing a company executive who wasn't identified. The delay is the result of difficulties in reducing costs to make the engines, Nikkei said. [7]This delays an already existing diesel already sold in Europe. A diesel V6 is not currently sold by Honda anywhere. Honda is developing a "low-emission diesel V6 engine specifically designed for the U.S. market for the 2010 model year." It is expected to have a new diesel plasma-catalysator for ecology demands. The redesign of the Odyssey will include new exterior styling, updated interior features, and most likely introduction of a high-mileage V-6 diesel engine to go along with an updated gasoline V-6.

Then again Hyundai/KIAs North American market strategy for the near term future is to not have many similar products. Products only with B-segment cars Compact sports cars will be similar. Hyundai will not be replacing the Azera, while Kia will not bring a European c’eed over as we will be getting the American Ceed(Forte), KIA will not replace the Optima. That American Honda Civic Coupe is very popular(7 out of 10 are coupes), and KIA wants some of that money. I think the Forte Koupe would sell ridiculously well in America.
Riding on new front-wheel-drive platform which will be shared with the next generation Hyundai Azera, the concept features a 2845mm (112 inches) wheelbase that should offer noticeably more interior room than the current Amanti. As we have previously reported, speculation seems to suggest the new VG could potentially be outfitted with a Haldex all-wheel drive system but that remains to be seen.

As with the concept, power for the production VG sedan will come from a 3.5-liter V6 Lambda engine but several other engine options are also expected to be available when the sedan goes on sale.

With several features including the 2.4 motor we got into this vehicle for under 19K! This car has plenty of power and is very driver friendly, im 40 years old and this is the best quality vehicle I have ever owned under 20k.

I thought it was a little funny-looking at first, and then I saw it in person and changed my mind instantly. This car is gorgeous. Fast, too. However, this isn't exactly the weapon for $4.70 a gallon for premium gas here in sunny California. Then again, no SUV really is. If I wanted a family hauler sports-car combo, though, I would probably go with the cheaper Mazda CX-9. It's easier on gas, as well as much cheaper .The FX line first entered the world as a concept car in 2001, with a design brief from Infiniti that described it as a “Bionic Cheetah.” That’s not a phrase that immediately came to mind when we saw the production version in 2003, but the zoomy FX had style to spare compared with most of its competitors. 2009 Infiniti FX50S - Road Test
At first glance the new FX looks a lot like its predecessor, but upon closer inspection the first-generation version comes across as positively staid compared with the new car. The grille is bigger, with wavelike curvy bars inside its gaping maw. Toyota Sienna has been on the market since 2004 and it benefitted from a mild facelift in 2006. Toyota is well known for competitive pricing in the UK, so if the Sienna came over here with a 2.2 litre D4-D engine used in the Avensis and Auris, I can see this being a popular minivan providing its priced around other large MPV's, that can rival other popular MPV's like the Kia Sedona, Renault Espace and Chrysler Grand VoyagerThese shots caught by our photographer confirm that the automaker is working on the third generation possibly due for release next year as a 2010 model.
The new Sienna will use a mildly modified version of its existing platform that it shares with the Toyota Camry, the overall size of the model will grow slightly allowing a little extra space for passengers and cargo. No details about the engine lineup can be confirmed but it is believed the 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 from the current model will continue to be used with a strong possiblility of a hybrid being offered in 2012 or 2013.

"I don't know why, but I sure wasn't expecting a rear engined van" I'd think such a layout wouldn't be that much of a stretch in a VW, for one. Personally, I think VW missed an opportunity with the "Up" to bring back the rear-engine layout, which could have worked for a van as well... It really improves the internal usable space:exterior dimentions ratio alot, as seen in it's most recent incarnation the Vanagon.
Driving such a vehicle with its original suspension and brakes would be suicide, of course, so TH Automotive also transplants upgraded suspension and brake components from Porsche donors. Six-piston calipers up front and 4-pots at the rear ensure that this fast bus can stop safely. The suspension is lowered, and uses Porsche components as well.
At a glance, the TH2 Multivan looks stock except for the new front fascia and lowered stance, but subtle hints like a shortened tailgate and red Porsche brake calipers visible through the wheels are evidence that this vehicle has the heart of a beast. On the interior, amenities such as a Porsche steering wheel and ignition key (naturally), rearview camera and rear-seat DVD player offer a level of guest-room comfort that's not generally seen in the average 911.
Pricing for the TH2 Multivan starts at €145,000. There's a pickup version, too, with a stretched bed to accommodate the Porsche engine beneath

Since he will be leading hype-sensitive racing cars that can overheat and lose traction at low speeds, the SL 63 AMG was chosen for its powerful 386 kW (525 hp) 6.3-liter V8 engine that allows the car to run from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Despite the SL's already legendary performance, several changes were made in order to ensure the safety car can live up to its demanding objective. Among the modifications is a new AMG sport exhaust system which allows for better engine breathing, a newly developed AMGSPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed transmission that can change gears in just 100 milliseconds, and a revised coil-over suspension which can be customized for each individual race track that the car will be driven on. To endure the high temperatures that racing duty requires, Mercedes equipped the SL with additional cooling systems and designed special 19-inch extra-light AMG wheels that optimize cooling of the car's high-performance composite braking system.

The company also went to great lengths to reduce weight which is highlighted by the fact that the safety car weighs 220 kilograms less than the SL 63 AMG production car despite the addition of all the high-performance modifications. To boast a total weight of 1750 kilograms, Mercedes ditched the SL's folding metal roof and used carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic on the engine bonnet, front and rear aprons, front wings and luggage compartment lid. Even the interior gets gutted of its luxurious appointments as it instead features twin AMG sports seats, two center console mounted video monitors for viewing race conditions, and a two-way radio system for communication with race management.

The car is loaded with safety features. Included is a camera that detects pedestrians in at the front, a Pre-crash Seatbacks system that adjusts seats to an upright position for better safety if a collision is deemed imminent and an SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) rear-seat centre airbag. A total of ten airbags are included as standard.
By using road-map data the navigation system can assist the driver in merging smoothly with highway traffic from an onramp. It assists with informing of oncoming stop signs and intervenes to help if it detects that the driver will not react and brake quickly enough in an emergency by reducing vehicle speed.
Trim levels available are the Type A, the Type A "L Package", the Type G, the Type G "F Package", the Type C and the i-Four. They range in price from ¥6,100,000 to ¥6,900,000.


Two engines are supplied. One is the 4.3-litre V8 which is fitted to four-wheel-drive models with a 6 Super ECT transmission. The other is a 4.6-litre V8 with an 8-speed electronically-controlled gearbox. Only two-wheel-drive models will get this engine
