The 2009 LaCrosse is a 4-door, up to 6-passenger luxury sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the CX to the Super.My 08 LaCrosse is red; I get loads of compliments..even the younger generation, how sporty it is!!! The features are impressive. This car tells you everything that's right or wrong...My other car is a 1997 Corvette, with nearly the same features!!!!
I have to say, they are BOTH incredible cars!!! You just can't beat the Buick LaCrosse CXL....You won't appreciate it til you drive andexperience it to the fullest--Prepare to be amazed!.
Upon introduction, the CX is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 200-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The Super is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
This car does 0-60 in 9.0 seconds for the base. The super does it in about 5.7? The ride is smooth and refined and relates to the lucerne. The 5.3-liter V8 is strong and fast. It accelerates good. It does 5800 RPM. The interior has leather seats but it only has a 4 speed automatic. It has good traction and you can get a 3.8-liter V6 that is still pretty strong. It is much faster than are Chrysler minivan that I just bought. That's it!
