New SRX 2009 Cadillac Reviews

The 2009 SRX is a 4-door, up to 7-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in two trims, the V6 and the V8.... I love the look and feel of the car. It drives well, hills and twisty roads as well as freeways. The seats and windows are well oriented. Vision is excellent. The large sunroof is wonderful and not too noisy at speed. As usual in a folding rear seat car the 2nd row seats are not that comfortable or supportive. The parts that are cheap are the remote controls in the visor which don't work with some garage doors, and being placed in the visor are too flimsy, too small and won't last more than 5 years with normal use. The door compartments aren't finished well, more like a cheap chevy than a caddy. The edges of the storage are sharp and reaching into the pocket it isn't easy to get to the full space - poor design in both of these areas. If Cadillac would pay attention to a real quality interior rather than putting in fake stitching on the semi-leather, and make the controls built to last a lifetime, as they used to in the 50's 60's they'd have a winnerUpon introduction, the V6 is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter, V6, 255-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The V8 is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 320-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
