Yeah, pretty good. But to be honest, the only good thing on the Merc is the star on the bonnet. I'd rather buy a Quattroporte or the new XJ. Even the Panamera is more attractive than this. And it's not only more attractive, it also has comfortable seats as James May stated in the last episode of TG. ;-)

The S 400 features for the first time used in a production vehicle a lithium-ion battery powering the 15 kW (20 hp) electric motor, paired with a 205 kW (279 hp) 3.5 V6 petrol engine. Combined, the system provides up to 385 Nm of torque. This provides a healthy 7.2 second 0-10 km/h time, and a 250 km/h top speed. The hybrid powertrain brings fuel consumption down to as low as 7.9 liters per 100 km, or roughly 30 mpg. CO2 emissions are rated at 186 g per km.
Some of the features on the car include start/stop, a recoverable kinetic energy system, seats lined with wool, and wood trim. Adaptive highbeams, lane assist, night view assist, the Splitview monitor, and the new COMAND system should all be available on this vehicle. Further details are listed in the press release below
