Cars are not investments but since a Soul isnt an Honda or Toyota, it will depreciate very quickly. The 2010 Soul is a 4-door, 5-passenger wagon, available in 4 trims, ranging from the Base to the Sport. Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 1.6-liter, I4, 122-horsepower engine that achieves 26-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The Sport is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 142-horsepower engine that achieves 24-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
With this said, I am planning to drive it until the wheels fall off. Thank goodness for the superior warrenty.
I love this little car with a huge interior. I went to the beach with my sister's and my family, We rode two hours in her car one day and about an hour in my car. My wife sat in the back seat both trips and was much more comfortable in my car compared to a Maxima. Of course the Soul has a very small trunk but we didnt have any trouble getting our stuff to the beach.
I test drove, a Nissan Cube and a Scion. The Soul had better pick up than either car which is ultimately why I got it.
The sound system is wonderful as well as the Blue tooth. I origanally was not going to renew the Sirius Radio but I think I will when it goes out.
I like this car better than my wife's 2008 Honda CRV because of the standard features. Like I mentioned earlier I took the Soul to the beach and left the CRV which doesnt have as much room as the Soul in the back seat.
I bought an IPod because of the USB port which I enjoy also
